Collage Artist Trading Card Class with Hagstash Art

Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are a long-running underground tradition in the art world; a way for artists to make, share, and collect tiny, one-of-a-kind works. In this workshop, we’ll transform ordinary playing cards into mini collages using cut paper, color, and composition. I’ll guide you through simple techniques for layering and building imagery on this small scale, while keeping your own artistic voice at the center.
At the end of the session, we’ll join in on the trading ritual that makes ATCs so unique: exchanging our cards with each other so everyone leaves with a small collection of original art.
No prior collage experience is necessary, all materials are provided. Come ready to cut, glue, and trade!
