Suzanne O’Brien is a fiber artist and creates handmade wool felt gift items and accessories for her business, ‘ZanieCrafts’, dyes fiber and yarn, and teaches wet felting at local galleries and studios. She enjoys working with fine wool and silk fibers and uses the magical process of wet felting to make her ideas come to life. Suzanne learned the art of felt making while she was living abroad with her family in New Zealand. She enjoys creating with color, and likes to include reclaimed, recycled, and found items into her work whenever possible. Suzanne and her family came to Buffalo in 2013, are very happy to be home in Western New York.
