February 2025 Featured Artist: Felix KC of Bog Standard Craft

Hello, my name is Felix. I am a trans, queer local artist born and raised here in Rochester, and most of my art centers around the celebration of queer identities and experiences. (But some of it is just shiny and cute.) Much like a dragon covets and hoards gold, I have found my life goal in amassing as many new crafts as possible. Bog Standard Craft is an amalgam of every beautiful artform that I can hold in my grubby little arms, all tossed into a cauldron and stirred until something sparkly comes out. Over the past 20 years I have fallen in love with resin, chainmail, decoden, polymer clay, and drawing, and I'm sure that list will only continue to grow!

I'm also a founding member of both the Rochester Artificer's Guild and A Queer Quality, a local group dedicated to selling LGBT+ art at various craft shows throughout the city.
