June 2025 Featured Artist: Hulda Yau of Hola Upcycle

Hi, I'm Hulda, and I absolutely love spending time outdoors! Biking has been a vital part of my journey, helping me heal both physically and mentally. In the summers of 2021 and 2024, I had the opportunity to participate in the Empire State Ride—a 500+ mile adventure from New York City to Niagara Falls that supports cancer research. This experience was filled with laughter, tears, and deep reflection, leaving me grateful. It truly transformed my life!

Inspired by this journey, I began crafting unique jewelry from old bike parts. When you wear my creations, you're not just sporting something special—you're also helping the environment by reducing landfill waste. Plus, a portion of every purchase goes to Rooted, a nonprofit dedicated to creating opportunities for women to feel empowered in nature. It fills me with joy to turn my passion into a force for good, benefiting both people and our planet.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference
