Have you ever wondered how stamps are made? This workshop is for you! During the two hour workshop, you will be given instruction and materials that will help you carve your own stamp. When you’ve got everything carved you’ll get to test it out and see how it looks on paper!
What Class is This? Linocut Stamp Carving
Level of Experience Required: No experience needed
What Should I Bring?:All materials are provided
Cost: $30 (Covers materials and instructor cost)
What to Expect: You will have a seat at a table with tools and materials to make your own linocut stamp. You will make your stamp step by step with help from the instructor along the way. Once instruction is finished, you’ll have time to continue carving and stamping things with your new masterpiece!
Parking: Abundance Co Op has a free parking lot. There is free parking along South Avenue, as well as on the side streets surrounding our block. There are also two lots for parking on South Ave. See our interactive parking map for more information.
There is no need to purchase anything from Abundance Co-Op while you're attending the class. There are snacks available for purchase in the grocery side of the co-op. You may bring water/a drink with you. Public restrooms are available on site.
