August Fairy House Workshop
Join us for another fairy house workshop: where you will upcycle a mason jar into a lighted fairy house! with bonus rainbow lights available!

What Class is This? Fairy House Workshop
Level of Experience Required: No experience needed
What Should I Bring?: We will provide all materials, HOWEVER: if you find a perfect stick or rock or leaf you’d like to include, feel free to bring it with you!
Cost: $40 (Includes all materials and fairy lights or candle)
What to Anticipate: We will use found objects from nature, glue, tape, cardboard and paint to create the perfect whimsical home for whatever fae or faerie You’d like to invite into your home. You will learn how to make a door from popsicle sticks, about using paint to create weathered texture, and using hot glue and moss to “landscape”.

Meet the maker behind Mud Hut Pottery and check out the new things they’ve been working on. Maybe even take home a piece for yourself or for a gift.
Make your Own Fuzzpatch Workshop
Join us as we create our own Fuzzpatch plush friends!
In this workshop you will make a hand-sewn stuffie with the distinctive Fuzzpatch-style face!
You will design your unique friend from your choice of pre-cut pieces, or patterns to work from to cut your own. The workshop is designed for all skill levels, from none to some! You can choose to keep it simple, or get real fancy with your cutting and stitching.
All materials will be provided.
This project will require the ability to grip sewing scissors and manipulate sewing needles and pins.
This workshop is open to grown ups, teens, and pre-teens who can safely use sharp scissors, and pointy little needles and pins.
What is a Fuzzpatch?
The Fuzzpatch are a family of funny, felty, odd, and colorful guardian animals. The Fuzzpatch are here to love you and support you, and welcome you to their world of kindness and companionship!
Fuzzpatch Studio is a plush art concern featuring custom hand-sewn companions that inhabit the uncanny valley between cute and peculiar. Studio proprietor and workshop instructor Dina Noto is an artist based in Rochester, NY, working in fabric sculpture, illustration, painting, and comics. She has a background in fine arts, animation, and the venerated institution of amateur improv.

What to Expect: You’ll be provided with an assortment of beads, embroidery threads, and other bracelet making supplies. There will be tables set up for you to sit and work alongside friends, (and new friends!!) to make some fun friendship bracelets: either knotted or beaded!

September Crochet Basics
Feeling overwhelmed by trying to learn crochet on your own? No need to worry, we’re here to help! Join us for this introductory class, where you will learn all the crochet basics. In this 101 class, you’ll learn how to:
- Find the right yarn for your hook size
- Tie a slip knot
- Chain stitch
- Single and double crochet
- The basics of reading a pattern
You’ll leave having practiced these skills, and with a pattern to try your hand at at home!
Hook, yarn, and instruction sheets provided. If you have fine motor difficulties or need a built up hook, please contact Megan to discuss accommodations.

June Speed Friending at Abundance Co Op
Making friends as an "adult" is ridiculously hard. We're here to make it a little easier - Speed Friending!
Nope, not speed dating, friending. During this event we will have tables set up with large coloring sheets and places for folks to sitduring the event to sit. You will have a 10 minute duration to chat and color, once that time is up everyone swaps a seat! We're hoping this event will introduce you to new folks ready for a new friendship adventure!

What Should I Bring?: All materials will be provided for this event.
Cost: $20 - Cost covers materials and staffing
What to Anticipate: There will be a room set up with tables for people to sit at with coloring sheet to share. We will announce each ten minute mark to swap seats so you can meet new friends. This event will go for six rounds. You will be provided with a card at the end to provide your contact information (phone number/insta/whatever) and what you are looking for (friendship/casual hookup/relationship). No need to awkwardly give someone your phone number after they shove it into your hands. You get to choose how you'd like to communicate and with who.
